Arsenal 0 - 2 Bayern Munich

Bayern dominated the game right from the start, But Mesut Özil was given the chance to put Arsenal 1 - 0 ahead early in the game, but sadly had his poorly hit penalty saved by Manuel Neuer. A penalty came around for Bayern too when Robben was brought down in the box by Wojciech Szczesny whcih resulted in the Polish international being given a straight red, so Łukasz Fabiański's first task of the game was to try and stop David Alaba from firing Bayern 1 goal to the good, but put the ball wide and clipping the outside of the post. With 79% possession eventually Bayern did break through with a brilliant curler from Toni Kroos. Müller who came on as a sub put them 2 - 0 up with a headed goal.so Bayern go into the second leg with 2 away goals to their name. Unless Arsenal can play like the best of the best, or if they played at all like they did last season at the Allianz arena then they have got a chance of maybe turning the tie around.

Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk 1 - 0 Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham went out with quite a strong side palying 4-5-1, with Soldado preferred to Adebayor, maybe Sherwood is just resting the big man on form. Townsend who hadn't started in a while, started on the left for Spurs. Tottenham as expected dominated possession, but when it came down to it couldn't put any of their chances away, with only 4 of 13 shots on target. Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk who I have never heard of were given and 80th minute penalty when when Vertonghen brought their striker Matheus down inside the area. Soldado had a golden chance to put Surs 1 - 0 up but fluffed his lines when it came to placing the balls into an empty net.
